§ 282-a. Extension of time for filing papers with clerks of court.\nWhenever the last day on which any paper is required to be filed with a\nclerk of a court outside the city of New York expires on a Saturday,\nSunday, a public holiday or a day when the office of such clerk is\nclosed for the transaction of business, the time therefor is hereby\nextended to and including the next business day such office is open for\nthe transaction of business.\n
