§ 7502. Definitions. In this article:\n (a) "Board" means the board of directors of The Life Insurance\nGuaranty Corporation.\n (b) "Assessment" means a payment made by a company into the guaranty\nfund.\n (c) "Contributor" means a company paying an assessment.\n (d) "Corporation" means "The Life Insurance Guaranty Corporation."\n (e) "Fund" means the guaranty fund provided by this article.\n (f) "Member company" means any domestic life insurance company having\na representative serving as a director upon the board of directors of\nthe corporation.\n (g) "Policies" means insurance policies; "contracts" means annuity\ncontracts; both terms include policies or contracts of reinsurance\nissued by a member company.\n
