§ 7201. Definitions. In this article:\n (a) "Domestication" means the reorganization pursuant to the\nprovisions of this article of the United States branch of an alien\ninsurer whereby a domestic or foreign insurer succeeds to all business\nand assets and assumes all liabilities of such branch.\n (b) "United States branch" means the business unit through which\nbusiness is transacted within the United States by an alien insurer and\nthe assets and liabilities of such insurer within the United States\npertaining to such business.\n (c) "Domestic insurer" means a stock insurance company incorporated\nunder the laws of this state.\n (d) "Foreign insurer" means a stock insurance company incorporated\nunder the laws of any other state.\n
