§ 7117. Return of shares of constituent company. A surviving or\nconsolidated company may require the return of the original certificates\nof stock held by each shareholder in each constituent company, and issue\nin lieu thereof new certificates for such number of its own shares as\nsuch shareholder may be entitled to receive.\n
