§ 6601. Scope of article; other provisions.
(a)All insurers formed\npursuant to chapter seven hundred thirty-nine of the laws of eighteen\nhundred fifty-seven, chapter five hundred seventy-three of the laws of\neighteen hundred eighty-six, or the laws of which the last mentioned\nchapter was a consolidation, article nine of chapter six hundred ninety\nof the laws of eighteen hundred ninety-two, and chapter three hundred\ntwenty-eight of the laws of nineteen hundred ten, the same constituting\narticle nine of former chapter twenty-eight of the consolidated laws as\nin effect immediately before January first, nineteen hundred forty and\narticle XI-B of the former insurance law as in effect immediately before\nthe effective date of this chapter, are hereby continued in existence\nand, toge
