§ 3456. Prohibition against cancellation of policy when motor vehicle\nis used or operated through a transportation network company program.\n(a) An insurer shall not cancel an existing motor vehicle insurance\npolicy solely on the basis that the motor vehicle covered by the\ninsurance has been made available pursuant to a transportation network\ncompany program in compliance with article forty-four-B of the vehicle\nand traffic law.\n (b) The definitions set forth in section three thousand four hundred\nfifty-five of this article shall apply to this section.\n
