§ 2901. Definitions. For purposes of this article:\n (a) "Controlling person" is any person or other entity who or which\ndirectly or indirectly has the power to direct or cause to be directed\nthe management, control or activities of a pharmacy benefit manager.\n (b) The terms "covered individual", "health plan", "pharmacy benefit\nmanager" and "pharmacy benefit management services" have the same\nmeanings as defined by section two hundred eighty-a of the public health\nlaw. The superintendent is expressly authorized to interpret these terms\nas if the definitions were stated within this article.\n
