§ 106. Construction of references.
(a)In this chapter, unless\notherwise stated or required by the context:\n (1) All references to a part, title, article or section number or\nletter refer to the part, title, article or section so numbered or\nlettered in this chapter, and all references in any section of this\nchapter to a numbered or lettered subsection, paragraph, subparagraph,\nitem or clause refer to the subsection, paragraph, subparagraph, item or\nclause so numbered or lettered in such section.\n (2) All references to former provisions of chapter twenty-eight of the\nconsolidated laws refer to provisions of the former insurance law\nenacted by chapter eight hundred eighty-two of the laws of nineteen\nhundred thirty-nine.\n (b) In other laws of this state, references to the fo
