§ 53 — Highways and bridges on Indian reservations
§ 53. Highways and bridges on Indian reservations. The Department of\ntransportation shall have supervision and control, in the construction,\nmaintenance and improvement of all highways and bridges constructed or\nto be constructed by the state on any Indian reservations, and may make\nand enforce such reasonable orders, rules and regulations concerning\ntheir use as it shall deem necessary. The cost of such maintenance and\nconstruction and improvement, and removal of snow therefrom, shall be\npaid by the state out of any moneys appropriated for the maintenance,\nconstruction and improvement of highways.\n
