§ 93-a. Written statement of deductions to accompany payment of salary\nor wages to officers or employees in certain cases. On and after July\nfirst, nineteen hundred fifty-four, the chief fiscal officer of every\nmunicipal corporation may, upon request in writing therefor, cause to be\ngiven to any officer or employee with any payment of salary or wages, a\nstatement in writing of all deductions made from the basic amount of\nsuch salary or wages.\n The provisions of this section shall not apply to cities with a\npopulation of one million or more.\n
