* § 72-p. Establishment of farmers' markets.

1.The governing body of\nany municipal corporation may establish one or more farmers' markets, as\ndefined in section two hundred sixty of the agriculture and markets law,\nfor public purposes and in the exercise of its public powers.\n 2. Such municipal corporation shall have the power, charge and\nauthority to:\n a. construct, repair, maintain and manage all farmers' markets, market\nplaces and market lands of such municipality, and all buildings,\nstructures and facilities thereon;\n b. fix fees for services, licenses and privileges and rent space\ntherein and enter into leases therefor;\n c. promulgate guidelines, regulations or rules for the governance of\nfarmers' markets, market places and market lands, not in conflict with\nthe ru
