* § 72-k. Parking facilities and appurtenances within or outside of\nthe state highway right of way. The governing body of any county, city,\ntown or village is hereby authorized and empowered to authorize and\ndirect such of its officers or agencies as it shall designate to enter\ninto agreements with the state commissioner of transportation for the\nassumption of all the rights and obligations for the operation,\nmaintenance and control of parking facilities and appurtenances,\nincluding connections to such facilities, as provided by said\ncommissioner of transportation pursuant to subdivisions thirty-nine and\nforty of section ten of the highway law, and to appropriate and spend\nmoneys of the county, city, town or village for that purpose.\n * NB There are 2 § 72-k's\n
