§ 696-b. Condemnation. Notwithstanding any inconsistent provision of\nany general, special or local law, a municipality shall be authorized to\nexercise its power of eminent domain pursuant to the eminent domain\nprocedure law for the purpose of condemning any interest of a third\nparty in real property which may continue subsequent to the vesting of\ntitle of real property in the municipality pursuant to a foreclosure of\na tax lien, whether or not title to such real property remains with the\nmunicipality at the time of the commencement of any proceeding brought\npursuant to such law.\n
