§ 572 — Binghamton urban renewal agency

§ 572. Binghamton urban renewal agency. A municipal urban renewal\nagency, to be known as the Binghamton urban renewal agency, is hereby\nestablished for the accomplishment of any or all of the purposes\nspecified in articles fifteen and fifteen-A of this chapter and in\naccordance with article eighteen of the constitution of the state of New\nYork. It shall constitute a body corporate and politic, be perpetual in\nduration and consist of seven members including the mayor, the\ncomptroller, the corporation counsel, city engineer, commissioner of\npublic works and two members of the council of the city of Binghamton,\nprovided however, that not more than one of such council members shall\nbe of the same political party.
