§ 370 — Establishment
§ 370. Establishment.
1.The legislative body of a city, village or\ntown, may by ordinance or local law authorize the court having\njurisdiction of traffic cases to establish a traffic violations bureau\nto assist the court in the disposition of infractions in relation to\ntraffic violations.\n 2. There shall be a department of the Nassau county government known\nas the Nassau county traffic and parking violations agency, which shall\noperate under the direction and control of the county executive.\n 3. There shall be a department of the Suffolk county government known\nas the Suffolk county traffic and parking violations agency, which shall\noperate under the direction and control of the county executive.\n 4.
