§ 275. Picnic parks and/or roadside rest areas. The governing body of\nany county, city, town or village is hereby authorized and empowered to\nauthorize and direct such of its officers or agencies as it shall\ndesignate to enter into agreements with the state superintendent of\npublic works for the maintenance of a picnic park and/or roadside rest\narea as authorized by section twenty of the highway law and to\nappropriate and spend moneys of the county, city, town or village for\nthat purpose.\n
