§ 189-b. Declaration of state's exemption from operation of provisions\nof 15 U.S.C.
(1172). Pursuant to section two of an Act of Congress of\nthe United States entitled "An act to prohibit transportation of\ngambling devices in interstate and foreign commerce," approved January\nsecond, nineteen hundred fifty-one, being chapter 1194, 64 Stat. 1134,\nand also designated as 15 U.S.C. (1171-1177), the state of New York,\nacting by and through the duly elected and qualified members of its\nlegislature, does hereby, in accordance with and in compliance with the\nprovisions of section two of said Act of Congress, declare and proclaim\nthat it is exempt from the provisions of section two of said Act of\nCongress.\n
