§ 165. Maintenance and cleanup of abandoned cemeteries.
1.Any\nmunicipal corporation is hereby authorized and empowered to establish\nvolunteer cemetery maintenance and cleanup programs to maintain and\ncleanup abandoned cemeteries wholly contained within such municipal\ncorporation for which such municipal corporation has the primary\nresponsibility to provide care.\n 2. The cemetery division of the department of state is hereby\nauthorized and directed to assist any municipal corporation in the\norganization, implementation and administration of a volunteer cemetery\nmaintenance and cleanup program at the request of such municipal\ncorporation. The department of state is hereby authorized and directed\nto promulgate rules and regulations setting forth the manner and form of\nsuch ass
