§ 12-a. Money for tercentennial celebrations. The common council of\nany city is hereby authorized to appropriate and set aside such sums as\nit may deem proper in order to celebrate the due and proper observance\nof tercentennial celebrations commemorating the founding of the\ncommunity.\n
