§ 10. Acknowledge and acknowledgment. The terms acknowledge and\nacknowledgment, when used with reference to the execution of an\ninstrument or writing other than a deed of real property, include a\ncompliance with the provisions of the next section by either such proof\nor acknowledgment.\n
