§ 599. Definitions. Traffic control devices mean all signs, signals,\nmarkings and devices not inconsistent with the vehicle and traffic law\nplaced or erected by authority of a public body or official having\njurisdiction for the purpose of regulating, warning or guiding traffic.\n
