§ 483. Administration.

a.The commissioner of labor is hereby\nauthorized and directed to prescribe such rules and regulations as may\nbe necessary and proper for the administration and enforcement of this\narticle with respect to lasers, crane operators, blasters and\npyrotechnicians.\n b. Pursuant to section two hundred twenty-five of the public health\nlaw, the public health and health planning council, subject to the\napproval of the commissioner of health, is hereby authorized and\ndirected to prescribe such rules and regulations as may be necessary and\nproper for the administration and enforcement of this article with\nrespect to radioactive material and radiation equipment.
