§ 452. Unauthorized charges in connection with permits for burials or\nerection of monuments. It shall be unlawful for a society or fraternal\norganization or a representative thereof to obtain, receive or exact or\nattempt to obtain, receive or exact, a fee or thing of value in addition\nto the regular dues or charges required to be paid pursuant to the\nby-laws, constitution, or rules of such society or fraternal\norganization as a condition to granting a permit for or consent to\nburial in or the erection of a monument or memorial upon a lot or plot\nin a cemetery. A violation of this section shall constitute a\nmisdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine of not more than five\nhundred dollars or not more than six months imprisonment or both.\n
