§ 199-o. Independent range estimate required.
(a)Any entity that\nsells a zero-emission school bus to a school district or contractor for\nuse in providing transportation services to a school district located\nwithin the state of New York shall be required to provide an independent\nthird-party range estimate to prospective purchasers prior to such a\nsale. Such range estimate must, at a minimum, provide the estimated\nrange on different terrain and different weather conditions. The range\nestimate shall also include the average level of battery degradation per\nten thousand miles traveled. The range estimate shall also consider\nwhether the bus is stored outside or utilizes an indoor garage. For the\npurposes of this section "zero-emission school bus" shall have the same\nmeaning as in
