§ 1001. Combative sports authorized. Combative sports conducted under\nthe supervision of the commission, under the supervision of an\nauthorized sanctioning entity, or as provided for in section one\nthousand twenty-one of this article, are hereby authorized. Authorized\ncombative sports include, amateur and professional boxing, wrestling,\nsparring, kick boxing, single discipline martial arts and mixed martial\narts, pursuant to the provisions of this article.\n
