§ 302. Regulations by superintendent.
(a)The superintendent shall\nhave the power to prescribe and from time to time withdraw or amend, in\nwriting, rules and regulations and issue orders and guidance involving\nfinancial products and services, not inconsistent with the provisions of\nthis chapter, the banking law, the insurance law and any other law in\nwhich the superintendent is given authority:\n (1) effectuating any power given to the superintendent under the\nprovisions of this chapter, the insurance law, the banking law, or any\nother law to prescribe forms or make regulations;\n (2) interpreting the provisions of this chapter, the insurance law,\nthe banking law, or any other applicable law; and\n (3) governing the procedures to be followed in the practice of the\ndepartment.
