§ 421. Venue. Proceedings to compel support under this article may be\noriginated in the county in which one of the parties resides or is\ndomiciled at the time of the filing of the petition. Upon application,\nthe family court may change the place of trial of a proceeding in\naccordance with article five of the civil practice law and rules.\n
