§ 142. Authority to visit school or institution. Judges of the family\ncourt may officially visit any school or institution to which any person\nwithin the jurisdiction of the court of which he is an officer may be\nremanded or committed, and the authorities responsible for paying their\nrespective salaries are authorized and required to approve and pay the\nnecessary traveling expenses incurred by such judges in making such\nvisits.\n
