§ 847-D — Compensation
§ 847-d. Compensation. The members of such commission shall receive no\ncompensation for their services but shall be reimbursed for their\nexpenses actually and necessarily incurred in the performance of their\nduties hereunder within the amount available therefor by appropriation.\nNotwithstanding any inconsistent provisions of law, general, special or\nlocal, no officer or employee of the state or of any civil division\nthereof, shall be deemed to have forfeited or shall forfeit his office\nor employment by reason of his or her acceptance of membership on such\ncommission.\n
