§ 603 — Warranty seals; notice to the department

§ 603. Warranty seals; notice to the department. 1. Before a\nmanufactured home may be installed in this state, the manufacturer shall\nobtain from the department a New York state manufacturer's warranty seal\nand attach the seal to the manufactured home in the manner to be\nprescribed by the department.\n 2. Before a manufactured home may be installed in this state, the\ninstaller shall obtain from the department a New York state installer's\nwarranty seal and attach the seal to the manufactured home in the manner\nprescribed by the department.\n 3. On a quarterly basis, every installer shall report to the\ndepartment all installations completed by that person or business entity\nduring the designated reporting period. The report shall be on a form\nprovided by the department and must include the location of each unit of\nmanufactured housing, the owner of each unit at the time of\ninstallation, the type or model of the unit, the manufacturer of the\nunit, written certification that the installation meets the standards of\nthe New York state uniform fire prevention and building code and the\nname and address of the manufacturer, retailer, mechanic or installer\ncompleting the notice.\n
