* § 73-0103. Definitions.\n When used in this article:\n 1. "Adaptive measures" means any adjustment, whether passive, reactive\nor anticipatory, that may be taken to ameliorate the anticipated adverse\nconsequences associated with flood events.\n 2. "Flood control study sector" means a particular aspect of the\nnatural or built environment, economy, or society that could potentially\nbe adversely impacted by flood events. Such term includes, but is not\nlimited to, stream and river banks, locks and dams, wetlands and\nwaterfront areas, water resources, transportation infrastructure, water\nsupply and wastewater infrastructure, human health, recreation, tourism,\npower generation and business, residential, farm and municipal sectors.\n 3.
