§ 49-0101. Legislative findings.\n The legislature hereby finds and declares that:\n The state enjoys an abundance of natural and man-made beauty which\ngreatly enriches the lives of the people of this state. The\npreservation, enhancement and promotion of this beauty will contribute\nsignificantly to the enjoyment of the people who live and work in the\nstate, as well as the millions of visitors who come to the state each\nyear. Further efforts by state government are needed to coordinate and\npromote programs contributing to the natural and man-made beauty, and to\nprovide advice and assistance to local governments.\n
