§ 23-2303 — Official encouragement for the use of rerefined oil

§ 23-2303. Official encouragement for the use of rerefined oil.\n All state and local officials shall act within their authority to\nencourage the use of rerefined oil. Such action shall include, but not\nbe limited to:\n 1. Review of any laws, rules and regulations, ordinances or\nspecifications which exclude the use of rerefined oil products that meet\nthe standards as specified in the American Petroleum Institute's engine\nservice classifications for oil products; and\n 2. Educating the private sectors of the economy as to the merits of\nrerefined oil, and the need for its use in order to reduce the drain on\nthe nation's oil reserves and minimize the disposal of used oil in ways\nharmful to the environment.\n
