§ 6-200. Application of title.
1.This title applies to all general\nand special village elections for officers which are conducted by the\nboard of elections on a date other than the date of the general election\nand all the provisions of this chapter, not inconsistent with this\ntitle, shall apply.\n 2. For the purposes of this title, a village shall be deemed to be\nlocated within a county if more than fifty percent of the population of\nthe village as shown by the last federal decennial, or special census\nresides in that portion of the village located in that county.\n
