§ 7904-a. Requirements for license as an occupational therapy\nassistant. To qualify for a license as an occupational therapy assistant\nan applicant shall fulfill the following requirements:\n (a) file an application with the department;\n (b) have received an education as follows: completion of at least a\ntwo-year associate degree program for occupational therapy assistants\nregistered by the department or accredited by a national accreditation\nagency which is satisfactory to the department, or its equivalent, as\ndetermined by the department in accordance with the commissioner's\nregulations;\n (c) have a minimum of sixteen weeks clinical experience satisfactory\nto the state board for occupational therapy and in accordance with\nstandards established by a national accreditation
