§ 7206-b. Requirements for a license as a professional geologist. 1.\nTo qualify for a license as a professional geologist, an applicant shall\nfulfill the following requirements:\n (a) Application: file an application with the department;\n (b) Education: have received an education, including a bachelor's or\nhigher degree in geological sciences, in accordance with the\ncommissioner's regulations;\n (c) Experience: have at least five years practical experience\nsatisfactory to the board in appropriate geological work; up to one year\nof experience may be credited for an advanced degree (masters, doctorate\nor an equivalent thereof) in accordance with the commissioner's\nregulations;\n (d) Examination: pass an examination satisfactory to the board and in\naccordance with the commissi
