§ 6811-b. Door-to-door distribution of drugs prohibited. It shall be\na violation, punishable by a fine not to exceed two hundred fifty\ndollars, for a manufacturer, distributor, or seller of drugs or an\nemployee or agent thereof to distribute a free sample of any drug, other\nthan a cosmetic not intended for ingestion, to any residential dwelling\nunless the sample is given directly to a person who is, or reasonably\nappears to be, over the age of eighteen. This section shall not be\nconstrued to permit distribution where otherwise prohibited by this\nchapter or any other law.\n
