§ 3805. Penalty for falsely claiming to represent commissioner of\neducation, regents or other school officer. It shall be a misdemeanor\nfor any employee, agent or representative of a firm, company or\ncorporation engaged in selling, publishing or manufacturing papers,\nperiodicals, books, maps, charts, school supplies, apparatus or\nfurniture, or any other person engaged or employed in such business to\nfalsely represent to a board of trustees or board of education of a\nschool district or to a teacher employed in a public school in this\nstate or to a superintendent of schools or other school officer that he\nis an agent, employee, or representative of the commissioner of\neducation, the state education department, the regents, or of any other\nschool officer.\n
