§ 78-a. Severability clause. If any provision of this article or its\napplication to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the\ninvalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of this\narticle which can be given effect without the invalid provision or\napplication, and to this end the provisions of this article are\nseverable.\n
