§ 1351. Application of article. If any provision of this article or\nthe application thereof to any person or circumstances shall be adjudged\nby any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or\nunconstitutional, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate\nthe remainder thereof, but shall be confined (i) in its operation of the\nprovision, or (ii) in its application to the person or circumstance\ndirectly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have\nbeen rendered.\n
