§ 866 — Establishment of shock incarceration program

§ 866. Establishment of shock incarceration program.

1.The\ncommissioner, guided by consideration for the safety of the community\nand the welfare of the incarcerated individual, shall promulgate rules\nand regulations for the shock incarceration program. Such rules and\nregulations shall reflect the purpose of the program and shall include,\nbut not be limited to, selection criteria, incarcerated individual\ndiscipline, programming and supervision, and program structure and\nadministration.\n 2. The commissioner shall appoint or cause to be appointed a shock\nincarceration selection committee at one or more designated correctional\nfacilities, which shall meet on a regularly scheduled basis to review\nall eligible incarcerated individuals transferred to such facility for\nscreening an
