§ 613. Conveyance of prisoner after arrest. A sheriff or other\nofficer, who has lawfully arrested a civil prisoner, may convey his\nprisoner through one or more other counties, in the ordinary route of\ntravel, from the place where the prisoner was arrested, to the place\nwhere he is to be delivered or confined.\n
