§ 529 — Term of imprisonment of a recaptured prisoner

§ 529. Term of imprisonment of a recaptured prisoner. A prisoner\narrested or committed in a civil action or proceeding, who escapes from\ncustody, upon his voluntary return or recapture, shall be imprisoned for\na term equal to that portion of his original term of imprisonment which\nremains unexpired at the time of his escape.\n
