§ 22-b. Disclosure of video footage related to the death of\nincarcerated individuals involving correctional officers.
1.Definition.\nAs used in this section the term "video footage" shall include, but not\nbe limited to, recordings from fixed or stationary cameras, body-worn\ncameras, handheld devices, or any other recording equipment maintained\nor used by correctional staff within an institution or correctional\nfacility.\n 2. Duty to disclose. The department shall disclose to the attorney\ngeneral's office of special investigation any video footage that such\noffice deems to be related to the death of an incarcerated individual.\nThis shall include any case in which the attorney general's office of\nspecial investigation determines the death involves a correctional\nofficer.\n 3.
