§ 185. Estimates of articles required to be furnished. On or before\nJuly first in each year, the proper officials of the state, and the\npolitical subdivisions thereof, and of the institutions of the state, or\npolitical subdivisions thereof, shall report to the department of\ncorrections and community supervision estimates for the ensuing year of\nthe amount of supplies of different kinds required to be purchased by\nthem that can be furnished by the correctional facilities in the state.\nThe commissioner of corrections and community supervision is authorized\nto make regulations for said reports, to provide for the manner in which\nrequisitions shall be made for supplies, and to provide for the proper\ndiversification of the industries in the correctional facilities.\n
