§ 168-j. Notification of local law enforcement agencies of change of\naddress.

1.Upon receipt of a change of address by a sex offender\nrequired to register under this article, but in any event no more than\ntwo business days after such receipt, the division shall notify the\nlocal law enforcement agency having jurisdiction of the new place of\nresidence and the local law enforcement agency where the sex offender\nlast resided of the new place of residence.\n 2. Upon receipt of change of address information, the local law\nenforcement agency having jurisdiction of the new place of residence\nshall adhere to the notification provisions set forth in subdivision six\nof section one hundred sixty-eight-l of this article.\n 3.
