§ 118. Custody and supervision of persons in Westchester county\ncorrectional facilities.
1.The duty of maintaining the custody and\nsupervision of persons detained or confined in a local correctional\nfacility as defined in subdivision sixteen of section two of this\nchapter and such facility is located in the county of Westchester shall\nbe performed solely by correction officers of the Westchester county\ncorrection department. This duty, in whole or in part, shall not be\ndelegated, transferred or assigned.\n 2. As used in this section, "correction officer" of the Westchester\ncounty correction department means a correction officer, correction\nofficer-sergeant, correction officer-captain, assistant warden,\nassociate warden or warden.\n
