§ 933. Appropriations for extraordinary criminal actions. It shall be\nlawful for the city, upon the certificate of the district attorney of\nany county within the city of New York, to appropriate such sums as it\nmay deem necessary, for the proper conduct of a criminal action of\nexceptional difficulty. Such sums shall be raised pursuant to paragraph\nten of subdivision a of section one hundred seventeen of the New York\ncity charter.\n
