§ 625. County purchasing agent; terms; duties. The board of\nsupervisors shall have power to create the office of county purchasing\nagent, who shall be appointed for the term for which the membership of\nsuch board appointing him was elected. Except as otherwise provided by\nlaw, he shall make all purchases and contracts for supplies for the\nvarious county offices, buildings, institutions and grounds of the\ncounty, and shall let to public advertisement and bid all purchases when\nso required by section one hundred three of the general municipal law.\nHe shall prescribe the form of requisitions, and of receipts for\nsupplies delivered without requisition. No claim shall be audited and\npaid without the requisition or delivery receipt being attached thereto.\nHe shall be the custodian o
