§ 408-a. Advertising for bids; letting of contracts.

1.Every officer,\nboard or agency of the county shall let all contracts for public work\nand all purchase contracts to the lowest responsible bidder after\nadvertisement for bids where so required by section one hundred three of\nthe general municipal law. The board of supervisors may require\ncontracts involving an expenditure of less than the amount specified in\nsuch section to be let in the manner provided therein. The term\n"officer" as used in this section shall mean and include any officer\npaid compensation from county funds.\n * 2.
